Movie Assassins,
Last week we continued movie night by watching one of those weird movies where it’s CRAZY ALL THE TIME, non-stop action party. Guns Akimbo is a pretty fun movie, but I’ll watch Daniel Radcliffe in anything. I think because he stashed all that Harry Potter money, he just makes any weird thing he wants. Did anybody see the one where he played a corpse the whole time?
Anyway. I don’t think I can do a recap of the movie, because it’s been a week and I’ve forgotten most of it. I’ll just list some things I remember.
Random Thoughts!
- Daniel Radcliffes American accent took some getting used to.
- Miles cant shoot something right in front of him. Then later in the movie he’s great, just convenient. kind of distracting how bad he was in the beginning.
- Rhys Darby playing the homeless guy was great.
- Miles cant fucking do anything with his gun hands when it’s funny for the plot, but then later he has no problem removing a bullet proof vest from a guy, etc.

Pretty good movie, fast and good action but kind of forgettable. I’m still maintaining the spreadsheet, but working on a more permanent solution.
I took some screenshots, but they are noting to write home about. And with my new laptop the screenshots are 5mb each now for some reason. I need to fix that!.

The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September 2019 and was released in New Zealand on 5 March 2020 by Madman Entertainment.
