MACGRUBER!!!

Although I wasn’t ever really a fan of this skit on SNL, I understand its meaning to some, and I’ll always remember the original theme song.  I guess that was the first thing that took away from this movie for me. This movie wasn’t terrible or great for me and instead was a run of the mill mediocre viewing.

I tried to stay open minded even though I’m not a huge follower or fan of its humble beginnings.  I’m sure most of you can remember how this character was funny in skit format but for me it didn’t work as a feature length film. Low points for me were trying to keep up with the characters interactions with each other and how their relationships evolved.  It was somewhat of a rollercoaster with no real competent path all pretty much for the sake of situational jokes.  Don’t get me wrong it was still funny,  it just didn’t really work well in the format of a movie. That’s all I can really say as a recap/opinion of this film.

The van exploding scene was the best of the movie. “Ohhhhhhhh Fuuuuck!!! Nononononononononononononononoonononono….!”

This week it looks like it’s a wildcard and seemingly will only be at most, attended by Goins, Shibs, Dan and Bill.

What will they choose?
